What to Buy?

If you're a beginner about to buy your first pair of zills or sagats, you have a choice:

• Buy a cheap pair and upgrade later, or
• Buy a top brand like Saroyan or Turquoise now, and keep them forever.

If you're just starting out and not sure if bellydance is for you, a cheap pair makes sense. However, a good pair of zills can last your whole career, and even the best zills are not that expensive, so it's worth considering the investment.  You can always sell them to another student if you change your mind!
